Maximizing Timing to Take Care of Yourself During Ramadan Fasting

no comments Categories ramadanTags , , ,

Is it possible to take care of yourself during fasting?  Yes, it is. From suhoor to iftar, there are quite a lot of pauses that can be used to take care of your skin to keep it moist and bright. The skin has a regeneration time of 27 days, meaning that there is a pile of dead skin cells that need to be cleaned regularly to keep the skin healthy and clean.

Fresh Face Skin
Use vitamin C serum at night so your face skin becomes bright, supple and spotless. You can make your own serum at home. The trick is to prepare three vitamin C tablets that have been mashed, two tablespoons of rose water and one teaspoon of olive oil. Pour all ingredients into a small bottle and shake well. Apply at night before going to bed. Antiseptic and antibacterial ingredients in rose water can prevent skin irritation.

Oily Nose
To keep you awake after suhoor and while waiting for iftar, you can clear blackheads on your nose with toothpaste. The fluoride content in toothpaste is effective in removing blackheads in the nose. Apply toothpaste to your nose while gently massaging it. Let it stay for 15 minutes and then wash with water. Choose toothpaste with a mint content to have the fresh feeling after using it. For maximum results, do it twice a week regularly.

Shiny Hair
Have 20 minutes after Fajr prayer? Use a hair mask to treat your hair. There is no need to go to hair salon and waste a long period of your time when you can use eggs and olives at home. If you have long hair, prepare two eggs and four tablespoons of olive oil. Mix well. Apply it to the hair and cover with a shower cap to keep the moisture. After 20 minutes, wash your hair like normal.

Clean Body
During fasting, afternoon is the time when your body usually feels weak and sleepy. Use this time to relax while treating your body with a scrub bath. Simply use sugar, which contains alpha-hydroxy acid – effective in removing impurities and dead skin cells. The trick is to mix one tablespoon of sugar, three tablespoons of honey and two tablespoons of lemon juice. Stir until well blended and thickened. Apply to body parts like the hands or feet then rub gently for 10 minutes. Rinse well until your body feels clean.
